[[File:Protector's ward detail.png|left|100px]]The '''Protector's ward''' is a somewhat powerful shield that can only be obtained as an uncommon drop from a [[Spiritual guardian]] in [[Daemonheim]]. The shield requires 65 Defence to wear. It is similar to an [[argonite kiteshield]], except with a sizable magic defence bonus, but also considerably lower bonuses in ranged and slash defence.<br />

If examined closely, it looks very similar to the [[Guardian's ward]], except with a less elaborate design. The shield also boasts a different colour scheme than the Guardian's shield, and the eye in the centre apparently "sewn shut".<br />

It has the second-highest magic defence stat for any shield in [[Daemonheim]].<br />
