A '''Proselyte sallet''' is a piece of armour that can be bought from [[Sir Tiffy Cashien]] in [[Falador]] after completing the [[Slug Menace]] [[quest]]. The quest is a requirement for wearing the sallet, along with 30 [[Defence]] and 20 [[Prayer]].

It has the exact same bonuses as an [[adamant full helm]], except that it offers +4 [[Prayer]] bonus. Like other proselyte equipment, it is white with a dark-gold trim.

This piece of armour cannot be made using the [[Smithing]] [[skill]]. Even though this armour is trimmed, it can not be obtained from any [[treasure trail]].

The sallet, if part of a full set of the armour, can be stored in the [[Armour case]] of a [[Player-owned house]].

*In real life, this would be better described as a 'double visored' [[wikipedia:Sallet|sallet]].
*On 6 March 2012 whilst the rest of the Proselyte equipment was graphically updated, like several items, the Proselyte sallet was instead updated on 7 March 2012.
