The '''Priest of East Ardougne''' is a Non-interactive [[NPC]] who can be found in the relatively small [[church]] of [[East Ardougne]]. He inhabits the church along with [[Doctor Orbon]] and [[Councillor Halgrive]]. Unlike them, however, the Priest has no roles to play in any [[quest]]s, and cannot be spoken to. Because of this, it is generally accepted that he is merely a background character to add atmosphere to the area.
Interestingly enough, the symbol on the Priest's robes are not emblazoned with the traditional [[Holy symbol|Star of Saradomin]] that most [[Saradomin]]ist priests are found to be wearing. Instead, this Priest's robes display a symbol which looks almost akin to the symbol of [[Iban]], the self-proclaimed son of [[Zamorak]]. Because of this, some players believe him to be a Zamorakian, though it could also be a graphical inconsistency.
