With the relevant [[Crafting]] level the player makes unfired versions of clay items, gaining Crafting experience. The player sits down, operates the pedals with their feet and uses their hands to shape the malleable clay. The unfired items produced in this way can then be further refined by placement in a [[Potter's oven]]. [[Free-to-play|Non-Members]] can make unfired [[Bowl]]s, [[Pie dish]]es, [[Pot]]s, and low level [[urns|Urns]] while [[Pay-to-play|Members]] can create [[Pot lid]]s and [[Plant pot]]s and high level Urns. The following table shows potter's wheel locations, which are labelled with a potter's wheel [[File:Potter's_wheel_icon.png]] [[icon]] on the player's [[World map|Map]].

|East [[Ardougne]]||This wheel is located near a water source and bank, though quite far from clay rocks. An agility level of 33 is required to use the log shortcut to the northern bank. A bank is located just over the agility shortcut.

|[[Darkmeyer]]||Players need to gain access to upper tier of the city by gaining Darkmeyer status points during [[The Branches of Darkmeyer]] quest in order to use the bank chest. It can be a convenient location due to the fact that the wheel is not only located relatively close to a bank chest, but a water source as well. Players using this wheel are strongly recommended to either wear the full [[Darkmeyer disguise]] or keep [[Protect from Melee|Protect]]/[[Deflect Melee]] on at all times. It is also handy to wield a bow with no ammunition in order to avoid accidently attacking a [[Vyrewatch]] that happens to walk by the wheel.
