A '''Possessed pickaxe''' is an animated [[NPC]] found in the [[Haunted Mine]], near the [[Lair of Tarn Razorlor (dungeon)|Lair of Tarn Razorlor]], and in the [[Chaos Tunnels]]. The behaviour of the pickaxe is relative to the location it is found in. For instance, in the Haunted Mine this NPC looks like a dropped [[steel pickaxe]] until it jumps up and attacks the player when he/she is nearby; while in the Chaos Tunnels these pickaxes are always animated, appearing as flying [[steel pickaxes]]. Possessed Pickaxes are weak against [[magic]] and [[crush]]ing attacks. This NPC is not to be mistaken for its [[Magic Axe]] counterpart.<br />
