The '''Octopus''' is a [[quest item]] used in the quest ''[[Hunt for Red Raktuber]]''. It is used to turn the wheel in the engine box. Wearing the Octopus may also be a requirement to use the [[conch shell]] to signal the [[Submarine|penguin submarine]] to surface.

The Octopus can be worn on the head after completing the quest. It is only used for appearance and as a sign that the player has completed the quest as it has no bonuses. It is acquired at the same time as the three other headgears ([[Puffer]], [[Ray]] and [[Monkfish (quest item)|Monkfish]]) from the quest.

The fish hats are the only items that can be worn as a penguin as a [[Forums#Avatars|forum avatar]] in the [[RuneScape Forums]].
