A '''mystic hat''' is [[Armour#Magic armour|magic armour]] worn in the [[Inventory#Head Slot|head slot]]. It comes in blue, white-gold, and black-red. Each may cost a different price, but they all offer the same bonuses. All mystic hats require 40 [[Magic]] and 20 [[Defence]] to wear. The blue mystic hat can be bought from the [[Wizards' Guild]] in [[Yanille]]. The black-red mystic hat is a drop from the [[Infernal mage]] monster in the [[Slayer Tower]] and the [[Chaos Tunnels]]. The white-gold mystic hat is dropped by the [[basilisk]] in the [[Fremennik Slayer Dungeon]] east of [[Rellekka]] and by the [[wall beast]] in Lumbridge Slayer caves.

The blue version used to be needed for a certain level 3 [[Treasure Trails]] emote clue, but was replaced with the [[Splitbark helm]].

==Trivia==

*When [[Item lending]] was updated there used to be a bug when a player is lending out a Mystic hat to another player. The hat would disappear when the other player logs out (supposing they have "Until Log-out" selected), leaving the other player bald. *If you have the 'bald' haircut and you put on a mystic hat, you will have hair on the back of your head.
