The '''Mithril hasta''' is a one handed [[melee]] [[weapons|weapon]], similar to the [[spear]]. It is [[pay-to-play|member's only]] and can only be used in combat. To wield this weapon the player needs at least 20 [[Attack]]. To obtain a mithril hasta the player can either create one using the [[Smithing]] skill or trade with another player. The mithril hasta can be [[poison]]ed to make [[Mithril hasta(p)]].<br />

To create and wield a mithril hasta the player needs to have completed training with [[Otto Godblessed]], have at least 55 [[Smithing]], some [[maple logs]], a [[mithril bar]] and a [[hammer]] in their [[inventory]]. The player then needs to use the bar on the [[anvil]] to make the mithril hasta. This will grant the player 100 Smithing experience.<br />
