To wear Mercenary's gloves, a player must have level 73 [[Ranged]] and [[Dungeoneering]] and 48,500 Dungeoneering tokens. They are currently tied with [[Armadyl gloves]] for the highest ranged attack bonus for any non-degrading gloves, and tied with [[Swift gloves]] obtained from [[Dominion Tower]] for the highest ranged attack bonus for any gloves. They are often not considered worth the effort when compared to the [[Recipe for Disaster|RFD]] [[Culinaromancer's gloves 10]] due to the high costs for the Mercenary's gloves and the limited bonus improvements over the Culinaromancer's gloves 10. However, the extra magic defence bonus helps when fighting bosses such as Kree'arra, giving 5 more than the other highest range attack bonus gloves, swift gloves.
