'''Mazion''' is a [[monk]] [[NPC]] who resides on the holy island of [[Entrana]], and manages the [[sand pit]] there. He is briefly involved with the [[Hand in the Sand]] quest, and helps the player to uncover the grisly fate of [[Clarence]], a mage killed by [[Sandy]] in order to cover up his money-making scheme of paying his worker, [[Bert]], a pitiful amount of [[coins|money]] for a lot of work. Mazion uncovered the head of Clarence in his sandpit.

When talked to by players not doing the Hand in the Sand quest, Mazion says one of a list of few things, such as:

* "Please leave me alone. A parrot stole my banana."
* "Hello <player name>, fine day today!"
* "Nice weather we're having today!"
