'''Marius''' is a character in the first [[RuneScape]] novel, [[Betrayal at Falador]]. Marius is a squire of the [[white knight]]s and rival of [[Squire Theodore]], often challenging and mocking Theodore and his peon [[Bryant]]. However, after Bryant's death, supposedly by [[Sir Balladish]] Marius regretting his action and took back his challenge towards Theodore. During the [[Siege of Falador]] he trained a group of volunteers to defend the cracks on the city wall, caused by the Chaos Dwarves' cannons. He later accompanies [[Ebenezer]] and [[Sir Tiffy Cashien]] into an underground tunnel in pursuit of the alleged spy [[Sir Erical]], who turned out to be framed by [[Sir Finistere]], who was the real spy. After Ebenezer and Tiffy managed to open the door with [[Sir Pallas]]' sacrifice, Marius slew Sir Finistere with a sword to the stomach. He left the body in the sewers before returning the [[Falador]] to fight. After the war, he and Theodore are both knighted for their contributions towards the saving of Falador.
