The '''Local mage''' replaces [[Lucien]] after the quest [[While Guthix Sleeps]]. He can be found in the small house east of [[Edgeville]] near the [[fairy ring]] where [[Lucien]] used to be. He is accompanied by a [[Local Thug]].

Strangely, he has an attack option but cannot be attacked.

He looks almost identical to a [[Shady stranger]].
He wields a normal [[staff]] and apparently practices the art of [[magic]].
