'''Karil's skirt''' is [[Armour#Ranged|Ranged armour]] worn in the [[Worn_equipment#Legwear_Slot|legwear slot]] that is part of [[Karil the Tainted's equipment|Karil the Tainted's set]] of [[barrows equipment]]. To wear Karil's skirt, a player must have 70 [[Defence]] and 70 [[Ranged]].

Karil's skirt gives the third highest magic defence for the legs (after [[Armadyl chainskirt]] and [[Pernix chaps]]) but gives 3 less ranged attack bonus, so is more often seen worn when fighting monsters with magical or magic-based melee attacks, than when ranging.

Being part of Karil's barrows set, if Karil's skirt is worn along with all of the other pieces of equipment in Karil's barrows set the player receives a special effect. On successful attacks with [[Karil's crossbow]] against a player, there is a chance that it may temporarily lower that player's [[Agility]] level. This piece of armour '''cannot''' be made using the [[Crafting]] [[skill]].

==Trivia==
*In a [[hidden update]] on [[17 March]] [[2010]], Jagex changed the name of this item from "Karil's leatherskirt" to "Karil's skirt".
*There is a glitch that occurs when wearing Karil's skirt. The legs of the player will appear transparent with blocky, different-coloured patches. It can also appear like the firecape fire. The glitch also affects npcs, like the [[guard]]s in [[Varrock]]. This has not yet been fixed.
The above glitch appears to manifest itself in different ways. Some players see white sparks falling down to the floor. But the glitch appears to only be seen by some players, even when looking at the same skirt.
*Although it is a skirt, it seems to have striped leggings.
