A '''Jug''' is an item that can be filled with [[water]] to create [[Jug of water]]. [[Jug of wine|Wine]] can also be made in jugs with water.

Jugs can be bought at [[general store]]s for one [[Coins|coin]] each. Jugs are not sold at the [[Catherby]] or [[West Ardougne]] general store. [[Fortunato's Wine Store]] in [[Draynor Village]] sells them for the same price as the [[general store]]s, and they can be [[Thieving|thieved]] from the stall. [[Beefy Bill]] sells jugs of water, but you cannot use him to bank. Hassan at the Al Kharid palace may also give free jugs of water if the player has not completed Prince Ali Rescue.

Jugs can also be found at their [[spawn]] points in the basement of [[Lumbridge Castle]], the [[Crafting Guild]], the [[Cooking Guild]] (top floor), and some other kitchens. The average spawn time is about 45 seconds.

==Making money from jugs==
This method is relatively unknown to most players, and can be an easy way to make money at lower levels. If you buy a [[Jug of wine]] from the Grand Exchange, drink it and then sell the empty jug, you can make a profit of {{#expr:{{GEPrice|Jug|n}}-{{GEPrice|Jug of wine|n}}}} gp per jug. Doing this with a full inventory of jugs of wine takes about 70 seconds and gains you a profit of {{#expr:({{GEPrice|Jug|n}}-{{GEPrice|Jug of wine|n}})*28}} gp per inventory, and make about {{#expr:({{GEPrice|Jug|n}}-{{GEPrice|Jug of wine|n}})*1344}} gp per hour.
