The '''Iron thrownaxe''', like all throwing axes, are [[pay-to-play|member's only]] [[ranged]] weapons. There are no requirements to wield this throwing axe. The iron throwing axe can be wielded with a [[shield]] or [[god book]] for protection.

They can be obtained either by buying from the Tribal Weapons store at the [[Ranging Guild]] or trading with another player.

All thrownaxes with the exception of [[Morrigan's throwing axe|Morrigan's]] are mostly considered useless by players, as a [[shortbow]] or [[composite bow]] can fire at the same speed or faster, and have better accuracy and the arrows have more power and are much easier to buy or replace.
