The '''Iron full helm''' is the second weakest [[full helm]] in [[RuneScape]]. The iron full helm grants greater Defensive bonuses than its [[Iron medium helmet|medium helmet]] counterpart, though at a cost of Offensive bonuses for [[Range]] and [[Magic]]. There are no [[Defence]] requirements for wearing this helmet. To obtain an iron full helm the player can either buy one from the [[Helmet Shop]] in the [[Barbarian Village]], obtain one as a [[monster]] drop from [[black knight]]s, [[hill giants]] and a few others, make one using the [[Smithing]] skill or trade with another player. The Iron full helm is commonly worn by any [[Combat pure]] for small amounts of protection to make up for their low defence levels during battle.

To create an iron full helmet the player needs at least 22 [[Smithing]], a [[hammer]] and two [[iron bar]]s. To make a helmet use one of the bars on an [[anvil]] with the hammer in the inventory. This will grant the player 50 Smithing [[experience]].

==Trivia==
* On [[1 July]] [[2008]], when Jagex released the [[Update:RuneScape HD - Members-Only Beta Launch]], all full helmets except the [[Black full helmet]] had a red trim applied to the plume on the low detailed version, similar to a [[Zamorak full helm]]. This bug was later fixed by Jagex.
