'''The lorwerth Clan''' is one of the eight [[elves|elven]] clans that once inhabited [[Prifddinas]].
At the End of the [[God Wars]], [[Seren]], the goddess of the elves, was forced to leave [[Gielinor]]. The [[Cadarn Clan]] departed from [[Tirannwn]] in the [[Fourth Age]] to seek peace with the [[Gnomes]], [[Human]]s and [[Ogre]]s at the other side of the mountains (currently [[Kandarin]]).

With most of the military gone, the Iorwerth Clan, led by [[Lord Iorwerth]], conquered Prifddinas. Many elves died and the remaining clans had to flee into [[Isafdar]]. They are still hiding in camps like [[Lletya]].

==Today==
During the [[Regicide]] quest, the player helps the Iorwerth Clan to kill [[King Tyras]]. The player uncovers the plan to resurrect "the Dark Lord" and to conquer [[Camelot]].

In [[Mourning's Ends Part I]], the player discovers that the [[Mourner]]s are actually elves from [[Prifddinas]] who want to enter the [[Temple of Light]].

Currently, the Iorwerth clan is settled in northwestern Tirannwn in a settlement known as the [[Elf Camp]].

*Iorwerth is a common Welsh surname.
*The capturing of Prifddinas by the Iorwerth Clan could be a reference to the capturing and unification of Wales, particularly Gwynedd, in the early 13th century. This conquest by Llywelyn ab Iorwerth, also known as Llywelyn Fawr.
