'''Initiate armour''' can be obtained after completing the [[Recruitment Drive]] quest by buying it from [[Sir Tiffy Cashien]] in [[Falador]]. It requires 20 defence and 10 prayer to wear. This armour has the same stats as [[Mithril armour]] counterparts, but with a prayer bonus.

This set of armour '''cannot''' be made using the [[Smithing]] [[skill]]. Because of its low cost and high prayer bonus, players often use this set while training on [[Monkey Guard]]s, [[Black Demon]]s and [[Aberrant Spectre]]s as an alternative to [[Barrows equipment]] while using the [[Protect from Melee]] [[Prayer]] due to its extremely high prayer bonus and the fact that Barrows equipment degrades over time (and is expensive to repair).

This armour is also necessary for achieving a medium [[Falador Task]].

A full set of the armour can be stored in the [[Armour case]] of a [[Player-owned house]].
