The '''Healer hat''' is a piece of [[pay-to-play|member's only]] [[armour]]. To wear the hat the player must have at least 40 [[Defence]]. The healer hat can be obtained by exchanging 275 Honour Points in each role and defeating the [[Penance Queen]] from the [[Barbarian Assault]] [[minigame]].

Prior to the [[19 January]] [[2010]] update, this hat had stats similar to a [[Farseer Helm]]. This was later changed back on [[1 February]] [[2010]]; it now has +1 more Magic attack than it did before the 19 January update. Most players are unaware that the Healer hat exceeds the [[Farseer helm]], [[Infinity hat]] and [[Ahrim's hood]] by 1 extra magic attack bonus. The players that know the helmet has a better magic attack bonus may choose not to wear it either because of its looks or because you need 275 points in each role to get it, which players might rather save up for a [[Fighter Torso]].

Players who don't bother questing can play the Barbarian Assault Minigame to obtain the Healer hat. As such, the Healer Hat is quite superior to its counter-parts. It makes an excellent choice for Rune pures, because they are able to wear them instead of getting Defence for Farseer helm (45 defence) or Ahrim's hood (70 defence). The Healer Hat can also be used for aesthetics and to show to players how good they are in the Barbarian Assault minigame.
