<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>The &#039;&#039;&#039;Hall of the Elders&#039;&#039;&#039; was the home of the [[Elders of Avarrocka]] during the early years of [[Avarrocka]], and as such was the city&#039;s first centre of government.<br /> <br /> The Hall was built in approximately 700, when the nomadic tribe that would become the first Avarrockians settled permanently near the [[River Salve]]. It was destroyed in the [[Burning of Avarrocka]] in roughly 720 to 730, although it was presumably rebuilt to house the elders.<br /> <br /> Sometime after the [[Invasion of Avarrocka]], Avarrocka&#039;s government system shifted from a council-based [[wikipedia:oligarchy|oligarchy]] to a [[wikipedia:monarchy|monarchial]] form of government.
