'''Guthan's warspear''' is a [[Weapons#Member melee weapons|melee weapon]] that is part of [[Guthan the Infested's equipment|Guthan The Infested's set]] of [[barrows equipment]]. Guthan's warspear is a two handed weapon, and requires 70 [[Attack]] to wield. This weapon has the 3rd highest melee defence stats out of all the weapons (only after the [[Zamorakian spear]] and the [[Maple blackjack (d)]] for crush defence). Like the other [[spear]]s, this spear gives controlled experience for accurate, aggressive and controlled combat styles, and [[defence]] experience for the defensive attack style.

Being part of [[Guthan's]] [[barrows]] set, if Guthan's warspear is wielded along with all of the other pieces of equipment in Guthan's barrows set the player receives a special effect. Successful attacks have a chance of replenishing one [[Life point]] for each damage the player deals. This weapon '''cannot''' be made using the [[Smithing]] [[skill]]. Also, despite being a spear, it '''cannot''' be [[poison]]ed.

Many players believe this is one of the useful weapons in the game because its healing is ideal for any combat [[minigames]] and training, with minimum food. Despite Guthan's having more than average combat stats, it is mostly used by players to heal (and saves space that would have been used bringing food) and then they revert back to their regular melee armour. This method saves money and ultimately puts off having to repair the armour as regularly.

Guthan's warspear was often an item used for [[Scams|scamming]]; it was switched for a [[Leaf-bladed spear]] at the last second. However, leaf-bladed spears are no longer tradeable.
