The '''guide book''', or '''Tourist's Guide to Ardougne''', is an informational book found in the [[estate agent|real estate agency]] near the southern [[bank]] of [[East Ardougne]]. The book details various points of interest in and around the city, and is presumably meant to help inform visitors and attract commerce to the city.

The book contains the full name of the owner of the [[Handelmort Mansion]], [[Lord Handelmort|Lord Franics Kurt Handelmort]]. This is useful in the [[Tribal Totem]] [[quest]], during which players must use Handelmort's middle name, Kurt, to bypass the mansion's security system.

The book can also be found in the [[bookcase]]s in a [[player-owned house]] if the player has previously read the book.

Ardougne is renowned as an important city of historical interest. One historic building is the magnificent Handelmort Mansion, currently owned by Lord Francis Kurt Handelmort. Also of historical interest is Ardougne Castle in the East side of the city recently opened to the public. And of course, the Holy Order of Paladins still wander the streets of Ardougne, and are often of interest to tourists.

The area surrounding Ardougne is also of great interest to the cultural tourist. If you want to go further afield, why not have a look at the ominous Pillars of Zanash, the mysterious marble pillars located just West of the city?
