The '''Granite helm''' is a [[members|members-only]] piece of [[armour]]. To wear a Granite helmet, a player must have at least level 50 [[Strength]] and level 50 [[Defence]]. The helmet can be obtained from killing [[Terror dog]]s, or by trading with another player, or at the [[Grand Exchange]].

Even though the helm is a fairly common drop, it can be somewhat difficult to obtain since Terror dogs are found in a [[multicombat area]]. The granite helm has slightly better stats compared to a [[Rune full helm]].

[[Granite equipment]] '''cannot''' be carved from [[granite]] that can be mined from the [[Western desert mining site|quarry]].

Granite helms were originally priced at 300,000 coins each as they were rare to obtain.

==Trivia==
*The granite helm looks slightly similar to the old version of a female's [[armadyl helm|Armadyl Helm]]. The Armadyl helm has now been upgraded to look different.
*For some reason when wearing a granite helm the players hair colour pokes through the top of the helmet, even when bald.
*After receiving a Granite helm, the Adventurer's Log states: "After killing a Terror dog, it dropped a granite helm."
