'''Gnome Drivers''' are [[gnomes]] which ride along with [[gnome mage]]s and [[gnome archer]]s on trained [[tortoise]]s at the [[Battlefield]] and north of the [[Tree Gnome Stronghold]].

They appear to wear a gnomish variant of [[granite equipment]], but have extremely low defence and appear to be unarmed.
The gnome driver sometimes attacks first unless the player killed the tortoise from a distance with ranged or magic (in which case the ranger usually attacks first).
