The '''Giant rat''' is a monster found in [[Daemonheim]], released as part of the [[dungeoneering]] skill. It is relatively weak compared to other monsters found in [[Daemonheim]], and can be found on any floor. The rats found in the upper levels of [[Daemonheim]] have the same appearance as the giant rats in [[Varrock sewers]]. On the other hand, those found in warped floors have bodies composed partially of what appears to be magma, ostensibly due to the twisted magic therein. Stab, slash, and ranged attacks work well on these monsters.
