A '''Giant bat''' is an animal that always drops Bat bones. It looks like a bat, but as expected, bigger. They may be substituted for bats, which are given out as [[Slayer]] assignments mostly by [[Mazchna]]. They don't hit particularly hard for their level, but they are very accurate, so lower-levelled players may need some food. There are also non-attackable giant bats in the [[Brimhaven Agility Arena]]. Grinding bat bones into an unfinished guam potion will result in an explosion, destroying the ingredients.
