'''Flying bugs''' are non-attackable [[NPC]]s that dwell within [[Oo'glog]]. During the [[As a First Resort]] [[quest]], the player has to drive them away from the spas by lighting specific mixes of items, such as grasses and logs. The grasses that need to be lit include combinations of [[fever grass]], [[primweed]], [[tansymum]], [[stinkbloom]] and [[lavender]]; [[eucalyptus log]]s are also needed.

Interestingly enough, they can still be seen flying around the spas after the quest. This is because once a [[wimpy bird]], [[platypus]], or [[diseased kebbit]] is caught, it is seen as flying bugs.

It can also be noted that they will always move to another spot when the player is standing in theirs. For example if passing one while lighting [[fires]], it will keep moving one square to the west, one space ahead of the player.
