A '''Fly fishing rod''' is used to fish [[Trout]] and [[Salmon]] and for members rainbow fish. It can be bought from fishing shops, such as [[Gerrant's Fishy Business]] in [[Port Sarim]]. A fly fishing rod can be stored in the [[Toolbelt]]. Fly fishing rods use [[feather]]s as bait. Feathers may be obtained by killing birds (such as [[chickens]]) or buying from a store and other players. Stores that sell feathers can be found in [[Port Sarim]], [[Shilo Village]], [[Shantay Pass]], south-eastern [[Varrock]], [[Witchaven]], and Lumbridge. Feathers can also be purchased in large amounts at the [[Grand Exchange]].

Members can also use fly fishing rods with [[stripy feathers]] to fish for [[raw rainbow fish]].

Fly fishing rods outside and inside Daemonheim, along with [[Chisel|chisel]], are identical. All other dungeon items with identical names have different looks than their outside counterparts.
