A '''Fire battlestaff''' is a medium power fire [[elemental staff]]. It requires 30 [[Attack]] and [[Magic]] to wield and provides an unlimited amount of [[fire rune]]s. Fire battlestaves can be created through the [[Crafting]] skill at level 62 by using a [[fire orb]] with a [[battlestaff]], granting 125 Crafting [[experience]]. It is also dropped by monsters such as the [[fire giant]] and [[killerwatt]] and is a [[Treasure trail]] reward. It can be upgraded to a mystic fire staff by [[Thormac]] for 40,000 coins after completing the [[Scorpion Catcher]] quest or for 27,000 coins while wearing a [[Seers' headband 3]]. As the name suggests, it has a higher attack bonus, therefore making it a better staff to have than the staff of fire. In-game visually the fire battlestaff is identical to the [[staff of fire]] and the [[mystic fire staff]]. In a hidden update the inventory pictures have slightly differed.

With 85 [[Crafting]], players may attach a [[shade skull]] to the Fire battlestaff, creating a [[Skeletal battlestaff of fire]].
