'''Extreme attack''' potions are made by players using the [[Herblore]] [[skill]]. It requires a Herblore level of 88 to make it. When a player drinks the potion, they will get a boost in the [[Attack]] skill. The boost is between 5-26 levels depending on the player's Attack level. The boost is approx. 5+22% of the players level, then rounded down

A [[Super attack|Super attack potion]] (3-dose) and a [[Clean avantoe]] are the ingredients required to create this potion. Making this potion will give 220 Herblore experience. The potion cannot be made with the [[assistance]] of others.

This potion, along with a [[Extreme strength]], [[Extreme defence]], [[Extreme ranging]], and [[Extreme magic]], can be used with a [[clean torstol]] at 96 Herblore to make an [[Overload]] potion.

When first released, the Extreme and Overload potions could be used in PvP situations, but within 48 hours, this was changed so they cannot be used in any PvP situation, dangerous or safe, however as of [[17 November]] [[2009]] Overload along with all other untradeable potions can be used in safe PvP [[activities]] and Staked/Friendly Duel Arena.

This potion cannot be used anywhere in the Wilderness except for one or two spaces away from the [[Wilderness wall]], [[King Black Dragon]] or [[Corporeal Beast]]. This is because the space right next to the [[Wilderness wall]] and the [[King Black Dragon]] and [[Corporeal Beast]] are not considered PvP areas. If a player travels to any other part of the Wilderness after drinking an extreme attack potion, the boost will be reduced to the power of a super attack.

A extreme strength and attack potion is equivalent to that of a strong melee potion while dungeoneering. Note: A strong melee potion has the combination of a extreme attack and extreme strength respectively.

The data in this table is based on the Grand Exchange prices of the potion's ingredients. It is accurate assuming all tradeable ingredients are bought off the Grand Exchange.

== Flask ==
This potion can be made into an [[Extreme attack flask]] by using at least six doses of it with a [[Potion flask]]. Since all untradeable potions must be made by the player, the flasks actually have the same level requirement as the potion itself. However, if the player boosted their herblore level to attain the ability to create the potion, no subsequent boosts will be necessary to transfer the potion from vials to flask.
