It is mandatory to have an exit portal, and it cannot be removed unless the player has an exit portal somewhere else in their house. An exit portal can be built in the [[garden]] or [[formal garden]] as a centrepiece at level 1 [[Construction]], requiring 10 [[iron bar]]s with a saw and hammer, and earning the player 100 [[experience]].<br /> <br /> The player will always appear to the north of the portal, regardless of how the garden is oriented. A player can also have more than one portal in a house at one time.
