'''Evil Twin''' is a [[Random events|random event]], released on [[22 May]] [[2006]], in which the player is teleported into an enclosed room at an unknown place by [[Molly]]. She claims her twin sister, [[Moira]], has been committing crimes around ''[[RuneScape]]'', and Molly herself has been blamed for it. Although Molly was finally able to capture Moira, she was able to drag several other female bystanders with her, and now she needs the player to help her separate her from the innocent bystanders.

Moira and the other women are in a large pen on the room next to the one Molly is in, although you cannot see what is in any one room from the other. The goal of this random event is for you to go the other room and use the controllers of a crane to choose Moira between the [[suspect]]s there. There are only two chances to choose the person.

Molly's and the suspects appearance change randomly each time the event occurs, but her sister always looks exactly identical, including her [[clothes]]. Therefore, the player must memorise how Molly looks in order to recognise her sister (see Strategy below).

==Strategy==

The most basic way to beat this event is just to remember Molly's hair colour (yellow, red or brown) and leg clothes type (long skirt, short skirt or trousers). Players do not need to memorize the colours of the clothes, or any other details.

There are only ever two girls with the same colour hair as Molly, and you have two chances. As the number of chances used makes no difference, it is common to pick randomly out of the correct hair colour girl.

An easy way to beat this event is to take a screen shot of Molly by pressing "Print Screen|SysRq" (on Windows), pasting it into Paint or a Word document and use that as a guide to pick out the evil twin. Alternatively, players can click on the [[door]], and her head will appear in the [[message box]]. This can serve as a useful reminder.

If the player fails to grab the correct suspect, Molly will say: "Such incompetence! I should never have asked a baboon like you to do a complex task like this! Get out of my sight!" The player will respond with: "Err, sorry. I seem to have messed it up a little." Molly will then teleport the player to a random area as punishment.

*There is a door behind the fence in the south-west corner that cannot be reached. If you examine the door, it will say: ''The door is closed'', this also happens with the door you've gone through.
