'''Emerald Benedict''' is a [[non-player character]] who wanders around the south-west corner of the [[Rogue's Den]]. He runs a [[bank]], and players can interact with him as they can with any other banker.

The [[Rogue's Den]] is found under [[Burthorpe]]'s Inn. He is walking around a fire that never goes out, which is why this is a perfect spot for training [[cooking]]. You can bank very quickly and you will be cooking on the everlasting [[fire]]. You can train extremely fast when you bank as he comes near the fire. Some players are even training [[Fletching]] or [[Firemaking]] here, also for the fast banking.

You can also train [[thieving]] here at 4 spots where it is possible to obtain [[gems]] and [[coins]]. Emerald Benedict is close to these spots, so its also a good spot for obtaining gems.

To lure him you must talk to him and run away as soon as the chat box pops up. He will walk around the room at random but after a few tries you can get him near the fire.
