			The '''Easter carrot''' is a [[holiday Rewards\|holiday reward]] from the [[2009 Easter event]], received upon its completion. When equipped, it gives the option to whack another player, which makes you appear to hit the other player with the huge carrot. This is merely for effect, and no damage is actually dealt. Just like with the [[rubber chicken]], whacking other players too many times will cause the player to 'fumble' the Easter carrot and automatically drop it on the ground with a message saying "You drop your carrot on the floor!", where it can be picked up again. It may be stored in a [[toy box]] in a [[player-owned house]]. It has the options wield, use, drop, and examine.

			The carrot could be reobtained from [[Diango]] if lost. Since carrots can be dropped, players could drop a carrot and ask for another one from [[Diango]] to gain multiple carrots. Now you cannot have more than one carrot, when you try to "drop trick" a message "You don't need another carrot. You already have one!" appears.

			*If players whack someone in [[Castle Wars]], they get a message which says "They don't have the enemy flag", even if they do.
			*Many glitches are available while using the "Whack" option. These include whacking someone and then quickly using the emote [[Around the World in Eggty Days]]. It then shows the animation of the egg moving, but as your character is already moving, all that you can see is a poof of smoke, with the egg appearing out of nowhere and then disappearing again. This same trick also works with the "Play with" option the player can use whilst having [[Eek]], to make the spider appear in front of you, spin the web and disappear. In total, this item can be used to glitch the animation of the "Play with" option of Eek, the [[explore]] emote, the [[Give Thanks\|Give thanks]] emote, the [[Around the World in Eggty Days]] emote, and many others.
			*If a player whacks another player then immediately does a graphically complex emote such as [[Freeze and Melt]], the graphics will play around the player as they stay still.
			*There is a glitch during or after completing the 2010 Easter Event in which players can receive an Easter Carrot from Diango despite not doing the original holiday event. The Easter Carrot has also been reported to appear in a POH Toy Box even if the 2009 event had not been completed. This has been speculated to occur due to the 2009 Easter Event being replicated/part of the 2010 Easter Event. A similar glitch occurred during the 2010 Hallowe'en event.
