The Dungeoneering cape can be bought for 99,000 coins alongside the Dungeoneering hood from Thok, who is located south of Daemonheim, by players who have reached level 99 Dungeoneering. Dungeoneering capes are brown in colour, and have a light orange trim if the player has more than one level 99 skill.

The Dungeoneering cape is currently the 14th most common skill cape in the game. This is because the skill is popular with players who wish to buy Chaotic equipment or access rewarding resource dungeons. Experience gained depends on the tactics of a team.

While wearing the cape, players can perform the skill-specific emote. Each emote begins in a cloud of smoke, and then the player will don a particular set of tier 11 equipment (Celestial robes, Primal equipment or Sagittarian) and perform an emote. The emote ends in another cloud of smoke. This cape has three different emotes that are performed depending on what attack bonuses you have at the time of the emote as well as the armour worn.

*Celestial - the player flourishes the staff and hits the ground with its base.
*Primal - the player spins the sword and stabs it into the ground.
*Sagittarian - the player aims the bow up.

The emote will be chosen by the biggest offensive equipment bonus.
If you have none, one of the emotes will be chosen randomly.
If two bonuses of different parts of the combat triangle have the same bonus the emote will be chosen randomly between every one of the three emotes.
The emotes are affected by rings.

Should a player achieve another level 99 after Dungeoneering, the cape's trim will turn from black to orange. The orange-trimmed cape, the Dungeoneering cape (t) also adds a +4 Prayer bonus to the cape's original stats. If 99 Dungeoneering is achieved after another 99, the received cape will automatically be the Dungeoneering cape (t).
Trivia
*The Dungeoneering cape, along with the Completionist cape, and the Quest point cape, are the only capes of accomplishment not worn by the seller.
*There was a glitch where you were able to play as one of the NPC's you morph into.
*If a player achieves 99 Dungeoneering as his or her first 99 and then reaches level 120 the previously untrimmed 99 cape will trim itself. It is therefore possible to get a trimmed cape with only 1 skillcape.
*When this cape is activated the NPC that comes out is gender specific, if you are male they will all be male, if you are female they will all be female. Previously for females only the warrior would come out as female while the others remained male, this has since been changed.
*The bottom part of the cape is not trimmed.
