They are found in the [[Kalphite nursery]] during and after the [[Diamond in the Rough]] quest. Unlike the kalphite larvae in the main [[Kalphite Hive]], dung kalphites can be interacted with: players can use a slashing weapon slice the dung ball they&#039;re pushing, yielding mostly minor rewards; the Kalphite will then flee. These do not count towards fulfilling a [[Slayer]] task for [[Kalphites]].<br /> <br /> Some of the beetles both sparkle and make a shaking sound.
