[[File:Drunk parrot chathead.png|left]][[File:Drunk parrot detail.png|left|60px]]The '''Drunk parrot''' is a quest item used in the [[Eadgar's Ruse]] quest. It is obtained by giving [[alco-chunks]] to a parrot in [[Ardougne Zoo]].

The player must hide the parrot underneath the rack near the prison cells in the [[Troll Stronghold]]. By doing this, the parrot listens to the sounds of humans screaming from the cells, and copies them. This makes the parrot sound like a human to the trolls.

The player must then give the drunk parrot to [[Eadgar]] in [[Trollheim]], along with a [[dirty robe]], 10 [[grain]], a [[log]], and 5 [[raw chicken]]. He will then turn them into a [[fake man]] that the player can give to [[Burntmeat]], a [[Troll]] cook, in order to obtain some information about [[Goutweed]].

When dropped, the drunk parrot is 'released, and it flies away'. If you lose the parrot, you can obtain it back by speaking to Eadgar.

== Trivia ==
*When you talk to [[Eadgar]] after you've obtained the parrot the parrot says "Raaawk! Polly wanna cracker!" which may refer to the song "Polly" by the late American grunge band Nirvana.
