However, it is commonly worn for other situations where high magic defence is required, including elemental [[slayer]] monsters and [[PKing]]. It is made from the hide of dragons through the [[Crafting]] skill.

Dragonhide armour comes in different colours and strengths depending on the hide it was made from, with different colours offering different bonuses. Each colour of dragonhide armour has [[vambraces]], a [[D'hide body|body]], and chaps. The colours of dragonhide, in order of defensive strength, are:

There are also god-blessed cosmetic armours that are trimmed in their god's colour, with equivalent stats to black dragonhide. They are all obtained from [[Treasure trails]], and may protect against relevant followers in the [[God Wars Dungeon]].

They provide good defence bonuses for [[melee]], [[magic]], and [[ranging]]. Range attack bonus is also good, however, magic attack bonus is negative.

Players using the [[Abyss]] often wear dragonhide armour to defend against [[PKers]] using [[Magic]]. Dragonhide armour is an excellent choice for protecting against monsters with [[magic-based melee]] attacks, such [[Pyrefiend]]s, [[Jelly|Jellies]], and other elemental creatures.

This armour will not interfere with [[Ava's accumulator]], [[Ava's attractor]] or [[Ava's alerter]].
