This is potentially an extremely potent curse against users of [[ancient magicks]]. It is unknown if this curse also deflects any side-effects to a spell. The deflection curses are a primary reason for players to switch from the normal prayer set to the curses, as they have the same drain rate as the protection prayers from the regular book and can deal additional damage back.<br />

The damage reflected is 10% of the damage the attack would have done if not blocked. Therefore, since you are protected from 100% of damage from most monsters, it is recommended to wear armour with the least magic resistance/soak available to you (such as Dragon) as this will significantly increase the damage that would have been taken and consequently the amount deflected back onto the opponent.<br />
