'''Ded Meet''' is a [[player spoof]] that features as the player's first opponent wielding a [[steel sword]] in the [[Crucible]]'s first tutorial,''Fighting in the Crucible'', as a fairly easy level 45 opponent. Ded Meet cannot kill you during the first encounter.<br />

After you've killed him the first time, you will have to fight him a second time and it is extremely difficult. [[Monster Examine]] on the second version would still yield a maximum hit of 38; this is deceptive, however, as he could easily hit over 400 at the speed of [[throwing knives]] and through [[prayer]] (but not [[Absorb Melee]]). He seems to have a minimum hit of 200, has been witnessed to miss however, and while Monster Examine didn't say so, he is apparently immune to [[poison]]. The highest hit witnessed is 525. While it is possible to bank right at the beginning of the tutorial and bring gear to [[safespot]] him, he would always heal 10 life points when he is about to die, occasionally with an eating animation. Not even the [[special attack]] of a [[dragon dagger]], [[ring of recoil]] or [[Retribution]] could get past this.<br />

If you kill him more than once, [[Miles (Crucible)|Miles]] would stop you from gathering more trophy bones.<br />

In the second tutorial, ''The Supreme Champion'', he returns as '''Supreme Ded Meet'''. Here he wields an [[Annihiliation]] instead of a steel sword, and receives a special attack with which he is able to deal massive amounts of damage. It is impossible to bank in this tutorial. While you could safe spot him with a [[halberd]] or a [[polypore staff]] (which counts as a melee weapon), he cannot be defeated as he heals 150 life points every time when he is near death. After the player dies for the first time, he will lose his ability to heal, and you will be able to kill him. He only has 100 life points this time, and his offensive stats seems to have been reverted to be same as in his very first appearance. You will receive some [[Trophy bones]] from [[Miles (Crucible)|Miles]] afterwards. Although he always drops [[Obliteration]], [[Decimation]] and [[Annihiliation]], players cannot pick them up. It is not possible to bank for this fight.<br />
