'''Create Gatestone''' is a spell obtained in the [[Dungeoneering]] skill. It is used in conjunction with the [[Gatestone Teleport]] spell to teleport the player to the location of a dropped [[gatestone]]. To create the stone, one must have the required runes. This spell can only be used in [[Daemonheim]]. After creating a stone, it will be placed in your [[inventory]]. The player can then drop it anywhere and teleport to it at a later time using Gatestone Teleport. The player may only teleport once per stone. If the player dies with a stone, it will automatically drop onto the floor, allowing the player to quickly teleport to the location.

The player may only have one gatestone at a time. If there is already one on the ground in another room and the player tries to create another, a message will pop up asking if the player would like to destroy the other stone. If the old gatestone is in inventory a message will prevent player from multi-gatestone usage.

Players with 44 [[Runecrafting]] and 55 [[Magic]] may find this spell useful for magic experience since casting Create Gatestone and [[High Level Alchemy]] give 50 magic experience. The cost of this is 400 coins for casting both at level 44 Runecrafting if you buy the essence.

Also, if a player has 27 Runecrafting and 32 Magic, They can buy [[rune essence]] in the beginning by selling all of the items on the starter tables. This rewards 43.5 Magic experience per cast, and grants a good amount of experience.

== Trivia ==
*The spell's appearance look exactly the same as High alchemy with and without staff.
*Due to a glitch, the gatestone is not always active once dropped. Players should check that the gatestone teleport spell is highlighted before moving on. This can result in a player having 2 gatestones but one will disappear if the other is dropped.
*If you right-click the spell, you will be able to use the Quick-cast option to skip dialogue. This allows you to place a gatestone while in combat. It has been changed so that if you don't have a gatestone, whether it is in your inventory or on the ground, you can just left-click normally.
*There is a glitch in which if the Quick-cast was used then there would be no sound. The regular spell cast (through the dialogue) still produces the sound. The sound is the same as the High Alchemy spell.
