The '''Cosmic talisman''' is an [[item]] that allows players to enter the [[cosmic altar]] located in the southern part of Zanaris. It can be combined with a [[tiara]] to make a [[cosmic tiara]] for 40 [[experience]] at the cosmic altar by using the tiara on the altar. This will make the talisman disappear, but the tiara can be used in just the same way and can be worn. Both the tiara and the talisman allow players to use the [[Runecrafting]] skill.

The talisman can be obtained as a rare reward from a [[Mysterious Old Man]], [[Pillory]], [[Security Guard]], [[Rick Turpentine]] or as a (rare) drop from [[Abyssal Demon]]s, [[Abyssal Guardian]]s, [[Abyssal Walker]]s, [[Giant Rock Crab]]s, [[Ice giant]]s, [[Lesser demon]]s, [[Otherworldly Being]]s, and [[Rock Crab]]s. Also, it is obtainable from a [[casket]], a [[Fishing]] [[random event]] and a [[Mining]] [[random event]]. A perhaps more common method to obtain this talisman is through the [[Great Orb Project]] and using 125 [[Runecrafting guild tokens]].You can also get them in [[casket]]s from a big net.

The Cosmic talisman can be used on the [[wicked hood]], giving the hood two free teleports to the [[cosmic altar]], and 5 free [[cosmic rune]]s every day. This will consume the talisman.
