New page

Coversations with a Mage is a book written by Samael Leynes, a historical author of the Fifth Age.

The book is mainly about Samael's interview with an elderly man that had lived before the discovery of runes, which marked the beginning of the Fifth Age. The old man tells of what life was like before humans discovered how to cast magic and how the runes were discovered by the Fremenniks.

The book does not appear in-game, but an extract can be found in the Lores and Histories section. Reldo stated that "The power of the runestones is well known to us now, and even children are taught a very basic understanding of the workings of magic and their advantages in defending our walls. This memoir shows that this was not always the case, and that in a mere few centuries our understanding has increased... but so have the dangers of those who might misuse them."
