They were released as part of the [[14 April]] [[2008]] [[Update:Treasure Trail Expansion|treasure trail update]], along with other [[animal masks]], the [[top hat]], and [[cane]]s. Like all other [[animal masks]], the Cat mask has been fluctuating in value since early November.

This mask gives no stat bonuses; players wear it to show off they have it or because they like the appearance. When the cat mask is worn with the [[cat staff]] you can perform the [[cat dance|cat-dance]] emote.
