The '''Brine sabre''' is a weapon that is dropped by [[Brine rat]]s after starting [[Olaf's Quest]]. One does not need to complete Olaf's Quest to wield the sword, however. It simply requires an [[attack]] level of 40 to wield. It's stats are similar to those of the [[rune scimitar]]<br />

The Brine sabre features a [[Special_attacks#Brine_Sabre|special attack,]] ''Liquefy'', that doubles the chance of hitting, and adds 2.5% of the damage to your [[Strength]], [[Attack]] and [[Defence]], draining 75% of the special attack meter. A great underwater area is the [[Mogre Camp]], found during the [[Recipe for Disaster]] quest. You can enter it by talking to [[Murphy]] in [[Port Khazard]]. This weapon can also be used in the underwater tunnel on [[Harmony Island]] and in the [['Rum'geon]], where it is super-effective against [['Rum'-pumped crab]]s. Many P2P members with enough money to afford a Brine Sabre buy one instead of a [[rune scimitar]], because it has the same requirements, but better stats.
