'''Brawling gloves (smithing)''' (also known as '''Smithing brawling gloves''') are obtained as a random drop from [[Revenants]] and the [[Chaos Elemental]].

The gloves provide 50% bonus while training on the [[Smithing]] skill. In addition, the gloves provide a 300% bonus to experience if players train while in the [[Wilderness]]. The gloves only last for around 434 items created(~220 with sacred clay hammers), and disintegrate after this limit has been reached. The brawling gloves disintigrate in terms of experience gained not the amount of items made. Making mithril platebodies with the sacred clay hammers and brawlers in the wilderness will give you great experience but will also degrade your smithing brawlers twice as fast (since you're gaining much more xp per item made,). If making mithril platebodies you can gain 440k smithing xp, if adamant - 550k smithing xp in total.

A good method is to use a [[Beast of Burden]] to carry bars while using the spell [[Dareeyak Teleport]] combined with a [[Sacred clay hammer]] to smith at the anvil in Summer's farm. The drawback is that the area is in level 21 [[wilderness]] and the area is [[multicombat]], enabling teams to attack people smithing there.

If you have 96 [[Summoning]] however, you can also use the anvil just west of the mage bank. This is best done in a low-populated world. And you can bank your gloves (if you were skulled) with the Pack-Yak scroll.

All [[Brawling gloves]] provide no [[Attack]] or [[Defence|defensive]] [[bonuses]] whatsoever.
