'''Brawling gloves (melee)''' (also known as '''Melee brawling gloves''') were introduced into ''[[RuneScape]]'' on [[15 October]] [[2008]] with the [[PvP worlds]] update. They are obtained as a drop from [[Revenants]] and the [[Chaos Elemental]].

The gloves provide 50% bonus experience whilst training on any of the [[Melee]] skills ([[Attack]], [[Strength]] and [[Defence]]). In addition, the gloves provide 300% bonus [[experience]] if players train while in the [[Wilderness]]. The gloves last for around 300,000 combat experience, and disintegrate after the player receives all this bonus experience.

For example, if a player hits a 10 whilst training on the [[Attack]] or [[Strength]] skill, he/she would normally get 4 [[experience]]. However, while wearing the brawling gloves, the player would obtain 16 experience in the [[Wilderness]], and obtain 6 experience anywhere else in the world.

Places to train in the [[Wilderness]] with the gloves could include:
