A '''bowl of hot water''' can be created by using a normal [[bowl]] on a water source to turn it into a [[bowl of water]] and then heating this on a stove, a range, or a fire. When added to an [[Empty cup|empty tea cup]], a [[cup of hot water]] is made. Players that have 89 [[Summoning]] or higher can also use a bowl of water on a [[Geyser titan]] in order to turn it into a bowl of hot water.<br />

This was obtainable in [[non-member]] servers for a small amount of time, allowing some to obtain a members object. To obtain one, use a bowl of water and heat it on a range. This was a short glitch.<br />

It is used in some quests and for cooking. The only non-member quest that requires the use of a bowl of hot water is ''[[Romeo and Juliet]]''. After its initial release, this quest was updated so that hot water was no longer needed, but instead normal bowl of water is used. A bowl of hot water is used to make [[Guthix rest]] and also used in the quest ''[[One Small Favour]]''.<br />
