[[File:Body talisman detail.png|left|70px]]The '''Body talisman''' is an [[item]] used in the [[runecrafting]] skill. It allows players to enter the [[body altar]] and create [[body rune]]s from [[rune essence]] or [[pure essence]].

At the body altar, a body talisman can be combined with a [[tiara]] to make a [[body tiara]] for 37.5 [[experience]] in [[runecrafting]] by using the tiara on the altar. This will make the talisman disappear, but the body tiara also grants access to the body altar when worn. Both the tiara and the talisman allow players to use the [[Runecrafting]] skill.

Body talismans can be obtained as drops from [[Guard (monster)|Guards]], [[Wizard]]s, [[Hill Giants]], and [[Dark Wizards]]. The fastest way to get the talisman as a drop is by killing a Guard. The drop rate from Guards is about 1 in 21 or 1/21 drop chance (4.5%)

As of [[25 February]] [[2009]], as stated in the patch notes, the image for the [[Law talisman]] and the Body talisman has been improved to emphasise their differences.

The Body talisman can be used on the [[wicked hood]], giving the hood two free teleports to the [[body altar]], and 100 free [[body rune]]s every day. This will consume the talisman.
