The '''Blackened crystal''' is a [[quest item]] used in the [[Mourning's Ends Part II]] [[quest]]. It is obtained by using a [[chisel]] on a large black rock in the [[Temple of Light]] at the start of the quest. The player must give the crystal to [[Arianwyn]] who will then turn it into a [[newly made crystal]] which is needed to complete the final part of the quest. If a player has lost their blackened crystal, they must carve a new piece from the giant black crystal in order to get it back.
